1. Late reservation policy
The Magnolia Tea Room offers a 15-minute grace period for all reservations. Guests arriving within this timeframe will be seated based on availability. Please note that your dining experience may still conclude at the originally scheduled end time to accommodate subsequent reservations.
Guests arriving later than 15 minutes may forfeit their reservation, and seating will be subject to availability. We encourage you to contact us if you anticipate a delay so we can best accommodate your needs.
2. Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of downtown McDonough at 37 Keys Ferry Street, McDonough, GA 30253.
3. Do you have a dress code?
Guests who do not adhere to our dress code policy will not be seated or served at the Magnolia Tea Room.
Yes, we require guests to dress in their best attire for a great dining experience. Our dress code is business casual. Jeans paired with a jacket are acceptable.
To maintain an enjoyable and elegant environment for all guests, the following items are not permitted:

At the Magnolia Tea Room, we prefer no printed T-shirts, hats, or open-toed shoes such as beach flip-flops and slides. Collared shirts and/or sports coats are always appreciated. We look forward to welcoming you.
4. Do you allow weapons?
No weapons allowed. For the safety and comfort of all guests, the possession of weapons, including firearms, is strictly prohibited on these premises.
Under Georgia law, private property owners have the right to prohibit weapons on their premises. According to Georgia Code § 16-11-126(c), individuals in legal control of private property can exclude or eject persons carrying weapons.
This policy is enforced in accordance with Georgia Code § 16-11-126.
5. What is the cost of the Magnolia Afternoon Tea Experience?
The cost of the Magnolia Afternoon Tea Experience is $45.00 per guest. Seating duration is 1.5 hours.
This experience takes you on a culinary journey with our exceptional teas paired with delicate sweets and savories. It includes a stunning dessert tower featuring an assortment of tea sandwiches and delectable desserts.
6. What is your cancellation policy?
All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of changes to the party size. The Magnolia Afternoon Tea Experience is non-refundable. However, we offer a one-time reschedule if requested prior to the day of your reservation.
7. Do you have an age restriction?
The Magnolia Tea Room is suitable for guests 5 years of age and older to ensure a refined atmosphere. Children must be supervised by their parents at all times. The Magnolia Tea Room will not be responsible for the supervision of children.
8. Are reservations required?
Reservations are encouraged but not required. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability. To book a reservation, please visit our Reservations page or call us at 470-278-1336.
9. How can I book an event?
We are delighted that you are considering The Magnolia Tea Room for your special event. Please contact us via phone or email, and our event coordinator will assist with selecting a date, planning your event details, and customizing your experience.
10. Do you offer vegetarian options?
Yes, we offer several vegetarian sandwiches and salads, and some items can be customized to meet your dietary needs. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions or food allergies at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.
Disclaimer: Food and beverages prepared at our establishment may contain common allergens, including milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans, shellfish, fish, wheat, soy and sesame.
Outside food is not permitted on the premises.
11. Do you have an allergy disclaimer?
Yes. Food prepared at our establishment may contain allergens. If you have allergies, please inform us before dining. The list includes the top allergens identified by the FDA, which account for 90% of allergic reactions.

12. Do you offer DoorDash or other delivery services?
Not at this time. Customers may place orders for pick-up directly through our website.
13. Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, we offer gift certificates for purchase both in-person and online. Visit our website or stop by the Magnolia Tea Room to purchase.
14. Do you have private rooms for events?
Yes, the Magnolia Tea Room offers private event spaces for special occasions. Please contact us about availability and pricing.
15. Do you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We strive to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies with advance notice. Please inform us at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.
16. What are your hours of operation?
Please check our website for our standard hours, holidays and special event hours.
17. Is gratuity included in the pricing?
No. An acceptable gratuity for parties typically ranges from 18% to 20% of the total bill, which is standard in the hospitality industry for group dining.
For parties of six or more, an automatic gratuity of 20% will be added to the final bill. Additional gratuity is always appreciated and left to the discretion of our guests.
18. Do you offer outdoor seating?
No! Outdoor seating is not offered at the Magnolia Tea Room.
19. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit cards, and mobile payment options. However, we do not accept Cash App payments.
20. Do you have parking available?
The Magnolia Tea Room does not offer private parking. However, public parking is available nearby. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot, especially during peak hours or local events.
21. Can I bring decorations for my event?
Decorations are permitted for private events. However, please coordinate with our event coordinator to ensure compliance with our guidelines.
22. Do you offer catering for off-site services?
No! The Magnolia Tea Room does not offer catering for off-site services.
23. Are pets allowed?
Only service animals are permitted inside the tea room.
24. What is your policy on photography?
Guests are welcome to take photos of their experience. However, private professional photography sessions must be scheduled in advance and may be subject to a fee.
25. Do you offer seasonal or themed teas?

26. Can I purchase your teas or merchandise?
Yes, we offer select teas and branded merchandise for purchase. Visit our retail section in-store.
27. Do you allow smoking?
